Privacy Policy
This policy explains how dbVantage ("we", "us") handles information in Growth OS, including information from systems you connect such as QuickBooks Online.
What we access
- Account details: the name and email of the people your company gives access to Growth OS.
- Connected systems: when you connect a system, Growth OS reads the data it needs. For QuickBooks Online that means company name, customers, invoices, sales receipts, credit memos, products and services, and profit & loss totals. For CRM and analytics tools it means leads, contacts, deals, activities and website statistics.
- Access tokens: the credentials a connected system issues so Growth OS can keep reading your data without asking you to sign in each time.
How we use it
Only to run Growth OS for your company: matching sales to customer accounts, showing revenue and trends, and producing reports and suggestions in your workspace. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with other customers.
Read-only access
Growth OS reads from your accounting system. It doesn't create, change or delete transactions, customers or any other records there.
Where it's stored and who can see it
Data and access tokens are kept on the server that runs your Growth OS workspace. Access tokens are never sent to the browser. Only people your company authorizes, and dbVantage staff who support your workspace, can see your data. We use service providers (for example, hosting) only as needed to run Growth OS.
This sign-in page doesn't store anything. It passes the one-time sign-in code straight back to your Growth OS workspace.
Retention and deletion
When you disconnect a system, we delete its access tokens and stop importing from it. Disconnecting QuickBooks Online also removes the accounting data Growth OS imported from it. When your company stops using Growth OS, we delete its workspace data on request, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Security
Connections use the providers' secure sign-in (OAuth 2.0) over encrypted connections, and credentials are stored separately from application code. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your choices
You can disconnect any system at any time in Growth OS under Integrations, or from the connected system (in QuickBooks: Settings → Manage apps). You can ask us what data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above.
